Our next store spotlight is a retailer who’s been with us from the very beginning: Frankie Say Relax.
Owned by Rebecca Feldman, who has a background in Interior Design, starting Frankie Say Relax felt like a natural progression.
“I wanted others to be able to source lovely pieces for their home and to show how to layer different textures and finishes through displays in store.”
Frankie Say Relax is all about relaxed living and, like Kollab, believes in sustainable pieces to keep forever.
Having four stores across Geelong, Torquay, Queenscliff and Yarraville, as well as an online store, Bec has a great understanding of her dynamic customers, ranging from coastal to urban. She talks us through how Kollab works for Frankie Say Relax.
“Our coastal stores love Kollab products for spending the day by beach or picnicking in the park.”
Picnic Mats are the item of choice during festive season, with many people purchasing more than one! And her newest store in Yarraville leans toward the commuting customer with Lunch Boxes and Mini Coolers flying out the door.
“Our OG store in Geelong sells a mix of everything, with our loyal customers always finding something from the Kollab range to add to their collection or gift a loved one.”
Running a business has highs and lows and balancing it all can be hard. Bec has found, through taking the time to surround herself with a strong team and outsourcing where possible, she can spend time with her family and enjoy holidays and special occasions while the stores just tick along.
And through the tough times, Bec has the perfect motivators to get through them.
“The team and my family along with my passion for helping people realise how good their space can feel and then in turn, themselves.”
Kollab and Frankie Say Relax have been a match made in retail heaven from the get-go.
Her work ethic has inspired us all and her stores are a testament to her impeccable taste and design flair. For those wanting to embark on an entrepreneurial journey, she says:
